Girly Girls

I am feeling so much better now. Thanks for all of the well wishes. I wasn't sick as in *cough, cough - achoo!* but let's just say that bad food choices make for a not so good day for me. In this case, two days of bad food choices made for six not so good days. Seems worth it, right? Yeah... not so much.

The girls are coming tonight - hyperlarity will ensue. We will be celebrating Rhiannon's 6th birthday and Uncle Marty's *ahem* 37th birthday. We also need to have a "big girl potty party" for Shelby.

Rhiannon loves to "day camp" - which is what they call spending the day visiting a relative at their camping spot. They do all of the fun camping stuff without the hassle of actually camping. For her birthday party, we are camping. We will pop a tent in the back yard, grill out, make s'mores around the campfire... and just hang out in the back yard. If it rains, we will pop the tent in the living room and make s'mores on the s'more maker my mom gave us. We are going to take a nature walk and collect things. We will do the crayon rubbing of tree bark, might do the leaf in waxed paper thing, paint pet rocks... and other outdoorsy things.

Shelby potty trained so that she could come to Michigan and see "aunt Krissa and uncle Mwrty." So of course, we have to celebrate! I will spare you the details. We will go swimming on the day of the potty party.

On Sunday we will probably head to the Homestead Farm at the nature center.

We have a busy weekend planned. I can't wait!
